Who Am I?

      My name is Brittani Jean Conrad, and this is my photography site! I graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho, where my studies were photography, art history, and visual communications. I grew up in a small town in Oregon, where I first started photography and dreamed of photographing the world. Now as an avid traveler, I'm always looking to my next adventure and I'm always striving to see the world. Photographing in both digital & black and white film, I enjoy the process and quality of working in the darkroom while also progressing in the high tech world of digital photography. My experience is in a variety of photography fields, but especially in travel, events, and product photography.

Photography is not only a way to share and capture what is around us, but it can also be used as a powerful tool for change. It’s how someone sees and uses that tool which sets each of us apart. One way that I have tried to use this tool for change is through spending time photographing for a marine institute in Greece that promotes clean seas and strives to help save the Aegean ecosystem. My goal is to give back to the world with my photography, even if it's only spreading joy through my photographs. In my photography, I try and focus on details and looks to see the light.
